But they do work very well in wood, brick, tiles. **Q: Hi, can the bits be sharpened when blunt?** A: I use mine to destruction and it takes a long time for me, (now retired) but back in the day I just bought a new set. I didn’t have enough hours in the day to sharpen them, so sorry but I don’t really know if you could sharpen them. **Q: Are these straight shank or hex?** A: Straight shank; accurate in a quality box. Clean holes in masonry without hammer action. **Q: Are these Tungsten Carbide bits?** A: Hello I purchased the Bosch Robust Line drill set of 4.
