The wide format printers with multiple paper trays tend to be quite large and very heavy. If I put them on my countertop, I lose valuable workspace. The printer shown is an Epson ET 16600 eco tank printer and is larger than my microwave I use in my kitchen. I occasionally need to access the back of the printer when printing on 11x17 paper. I have a separated AC and this printer is too heavy to lift or rotate with a bad shoulder even if I place it on the countertop. I just purchased a few days ago and it came the next day. My husband assembled it and it's pretty easy to assemble from what I observed. This printer stand fit the printer perfectly! It is very sturdy and the wheels roll nicely. I may add a leather strap to the front so I can easily pull it away from the wall to access the back since I have a bad shoulder. In case you are wondering, the depth of my countertop is 28 inches deep, so it tucks away nicely. If I placed it under my other countertop that is 24 inches deep, I would definitely be hitting my shins and toes on it.
