I had no trouble opening cans of all sizes, from little tuna cans to giant cans of mango pulp. The cogs were sturdy and didn't jam. It cleaned well, and didn't let me down. However, 18 months on, I've waved goodbye to it. The spindle connecting the orange screw handle to the cogs didn't seem to connect any more. It would clip on to the side of cans still, and puncture a hole in, ready for the cutting cog to do its thing, but turning the handle did nothing. Hubby had a look at it and said that the mechanism had failed.
