I've been using the old fashioned cardboard boxes for 25+ years and also had issues with them deterating and showing dirt/dust very easily, as well as caving in on each other when stacked (only ever stacked 2 high). These bins were easy (albeit a little annoying) to put together and feel so much sturdier. I subtracted 1 star only because the handles are a little awkward. They're very small and sit just on top of your finger tips so you need to pay attention to your grip strength when carrying them.
