I used it for a couple of years in the UK before bringing it to Sweden when we emigrated. For love nor money, it will not seal again. It leaks from the main seal, the seal for the hose attachment and the seal on the heater.I would really avoid this filter. There are loads of other cheaper filters out there that are much better. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Great price, but I don’t think the bio chamber is adequate *by L***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 June 2019* I have this but I did not purchase from amazon. I’ll just say that the unit works and it’s good value for money but it is not the most effective filter out there. What I mean is that the motor/impeller works fine and you get good flow but the filter itself, I think the design doesn’t really allow for much biological filtration. The sponges included are huge and do a decent job of trapping large crud but because the pores are huge, they don’t really trap finer debris in the aquarium. Eden have also left one side of the filter empty for biological filtration (ceramic rings etc) but I’m not sure the design allows for adequate flow into this chamber.Anyway, I had mine for over 3 years! So for the price, it’s a bargain for a mechanical filter with this flow rate, 1000lph. But if you have a heavily stocked tank and need biological filtration, I think it’s best if you add an extra unit or look for a pricier alternative. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Happy happy happy *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 March 2021* It took me half an hour to put together and then connect.
