We put 40W bulbs in and it provides plenty of light. The only reason I took one star off is for the lamp installation. We got the light all hung on the wall and then tried to install the lamps and it is nearly impossible! I have a small hand and could barely fit my hand in to screw on the metal pieces that hold the lamp on. I suggest putting those on before putting the whole thing on the wall. Would have been much easier on the floor with the lamps facing up, so you could see what you are doing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Light *by A***5 on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2019* I put a pair of them over our double sink master vanity and they look great. Paired it with cool white 60W LED bulbs and the light from it is exactly what I wanted. The original 2 fixtures were installed off center and looked silly, I took this opportunity to mount the backing plate so that it was not only centered but also covered the old junction box. It saved me from having to move the old junction box and wiring, and, even worse, patching the old hole in the wall. The plastic wall anchors they provided were a little cheesy so I located the wall studs, drilled new corresponding holes in the backing plate and it's now rock solid. The finish and construction of the fixture are pretty solid too. The only gripe I had with the install was trying to screw the globe nut back on inside the globes, I got big hands and it wasn't easy. It's done now though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Screw rings holding shades are a bit wonky. *by W***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2019* First we had to spray it black to go with our decor and black light fixtures with a wide back plate are just not available. Then when we put it together the metal shade holder that screws down inside the shade to hold it to the fixture would not turn either way. That leaves the middle shade on our fixture just kind of sitting there but as we installed it with shades facing up it works okay. Didn't want to force it as didn't want to break the fixture or the shade. Nice looking light though.
