When the first bottle stopped working after a single use, I assumed that it was a fluke, but the exact same thing happened with both the others. I normally buy the Ecolab bottles from Home Depot which last a month or more with Xylene, but was hoping to find a product that would last longer, which is NOT these. I'll just stick to a product that actually works. Maybe the bottle is just fine, but the spray nozzle definitely isn't up to the task. I'm sure they work with something mild, though, like water... Most sprayer nozzles clog with bleach corrosion in that amount of time** A: A Harris sprayer will NOT last if you spray 100% bleach. I spray a 10% solution and the seals give out in a couple of months. I purchased a Chapin sprayer on Amazon (a much larger though ) and it has lasted over 6 months. Chapin is a quality sprayer! **Q: Is there any reason to believe these are anything other than common spray bottles that one could buy just about anywhere locally?** A: yes, I have purchased them and they definitely last much longer than your typical sprayer. **Q: I have used these for orange oil.
