The slide gate for the material jammed open and wouldn't close. I thought I got it working again and the slide gate broke off ! Cheap material ! It is not made to even handle 80 lbs.

I bought this in Nov. 2014. I was very disappointed !When it was loaded it was very hard to push ! The slide gate for the material jammed open and wouldn't close. I thought I got it working again and the slide gate broke off ! Cheap material ! It is not made to even handle 80 lbs.

It handles two bags of ice melt with no problems. Ease of use and required very little assembly too. Great addition to our snow removal process!

### ⭐⭐⭐ I bought it for putting down fertilizer, but as it turns out it is more designed for spreading salt.

More of a salt spreader than fertilizer. Have to guess what the approximate setting is. Nothing in the manual about application rates. A couple of parts were mismanufactured, still trying to see if the manufacturer is going to send a replacement part. It is heavy duty, and very stable. Zerk fittings on the axles. Cleaning is a pain, they want you to take the housing around the gears off each time you use it and clean them. Had an Earthway before, probably would get one of those again next time.
