Enter this nifty little product, with its easy application and scraper. It took less than 15 minutes to patch the holes and smooth things out. We needed to do a second coat to get it to the thickness that we needed to prep for painting, but we didn't. (The pics are from the first coat, and you can see that it didn't sag or sink much at all. Yeah, I know it's hard to see on a white wall though.) We just did a second coat so we could sand and smooth really well since I knew my boy wanted to try some dry-erase paint in that spot. Anyway, yes, it could have been a tiny bit thicker, but overall, a solid product that we'll get again the next time a home installation goes awry.
