(5.5" long x ALMOST 2.5" wide) I guess I didn't check the measurements before-hand. Even though it's bright I'll need to get at least 3 total to light my child's average-sized bedroom. The point was to have a light for her room that was affordable, I guess it's size is why it is. lol Also my husband has had a hell of a time hanging it with the included hardware. He fixes things in houses for a living and is great at his job, so it's definitely not him.
