It is robust and it is a good match to the flooring I laid on our landing. We had a runner carpet with stair rods installed on the stairs below. **Q: the stair pre finished come with explanation how to fix it** A: No. I fitted mine with adhesive and angled screws through the riser below. Just cut it to the right width. Then I used grab uadhesive and 16ga nail gun to fix it. One and a half year now, it still hasn’t moved a bit.
