I did my homework and looked up the sticks recommended for DC welding and got a box of 6011 and 7018. Both worked fine with this unit. The bead I put down was ugly as sin but that was inexperience on my part. It burns the sticks like a champ and the digital readout with dial was simple to set. Small, light, and totally portable. I look forward to developing some proficiency and this little machine for the money is going to be awesome. ### ⭐ Did not work at all *by J***R on November 13, 2017* The welder arrived new in the box no damage to the box, I opened the welder up sorted out the leads and plugged it into proper power source and turned the unit on. No lights or indication of power. I verified power was correct and making it to the welders power in cord.
