I would rather have the warn switch it's spring loaded. Hold it on let go shuts off . **Q: how do you wire it up** A: It's a DPDT center off switch. Hot and ground to one side. Two wires (hot/ground and ground/hot) to the winch. **Q: What are the measurements between the mounting holes across the top/bottom and along the sides? What method of connecting the wires does it have?** A: It is 1 and 1/4 in across where the u bolt goes. From the front hole to the back measures 3 and 1/2 center to center. There are 4 connectors underneath that are threaded with nuts for the wires to be connected. 2 goto the winch the other 2 go to the selonoid and battery. Instructions are included with the kit. This only works with warn winches with 4 connectors. This type of switch came with my original installation. It is mounted on the front rack of my 4 wheeler which is tubing.
