Review: I am using it to support a bird feeder pole. I just installed it, so I have no long term experience with it, but it kept the pole straight during recent high winds. The spade-like ends seem to be what makes it better than the support it is replacing. I have a pair of them so they need to be exactly the same, not one straight and the other leaning. They have a good anchor fairly deep into the ground, along with concrete. The ground is soft near of the poles and with weight from the flower basket, it starts leaning. This has fixed the problem. The poles are in an area near my deck which has landscape gravel on the ground and no grass. I scraped away the gravel, marked the landscape fabric for the feet position, slit the fabric and pushed the feet into the ground. As a follow up to my initial review, the company sent me the hardware within a few days and Installed the support.
