Seems very shady that it keeps getting delayed by 3 months on the day it's supposed to be released.** A: Agreed. This thing has been on Amazon preorder for over a YEAR now. Every time it gets close to release date, they bump it out 4 months. The worst part is a PDP rep answered a question on this on 6/30/17 yet no updates on when it will actually be released. Amazon should just remove it from the site until PDP can actually deliver. At this speed, we will see a PS5 before this is released. **Q: Can this be put in a cabinet or is it required to have line of site** A: If you use a Logitech Harmony remote hub, it only needs LOS (line of sight) from an IR (infrared) repeater. Then you can put this in a cabinet - out of sight. **Q: Why I need these? I already pair my harmony control with my PS4 as a Bluetooth device.** A: Harmony only pairs to the PS4 as a bluetooth keyboard, which is fairly limited in what it can do. This device pairs itself as a bluetooth remote. Not quite a controller but still much more functionality. Many apps (Spotify, Bluray/DVD, Plex, and others) won't work with Harmony by itself. You need this device. And as others have said, this device allows you to power on the PS4 with the remote. You still need the PS4 controller for a couple of things. Some apps/games (example: Share Factory) require a controller, not a remote. Also there is no programmable "options" button provided with this device. If you do anything on the PS4 cross media bar environment, this device is well work the price. **Q: Can this be used with the harmony 880?** A: The PDP IR Receiver has been fully tested and is certified compliant for the following Logitech products: Harmony 350, 650, 700, 950, Elite and Ultimate. For those with older Logitech devices using the Logitech Harmony Remote Desktop software v7.7: - Add a new device of type "Game Console" with "PDP" as the Manufacturer and "IR Receiver for PS4". - Recreate your activity, and choose the newly added device as the means to play your PS4. If you have an existing device in your list for the PS4 (other than the IR receiver) - go ahead and remove it, will not be useful. - Device settings on the Harmony 520 are 7 screens total. Directional arrows, main PS4 controller buttons all appear to work on initial testing. Notably missing - there isn't a "Power on the PS4" nor a "Power off the PS4". The PS button substitutes with the Power On functionality, but power off gets a bit more complicated. Will update this review a bit more later with further test results / new findings. - Default buttons in the activity on the remote are: Circle, Triangle, Square, Return on page 1, Top Menu, Aspect on page 2 So this leaves a bit to be desired for default settings, hence docking 1 star. However, customizing beyond the defaults is straightforward enough given the amount of options on the device itself.
