I replaced the destroyed nib with the one off my old Lamy, the one I had replaced, but it scratched and caught, so I bought this. Happy, fluent, fast, writing is restored! I sit in panels and can take reams of notes, and using this keeps them legible, and allows me to keep a decent set of notes. Getting the "rammed on" nib off was a real challenge - but it had been jammed into soemthing very hard.
