**Q: has anyone tried this product on yellowed white window sheers?  they were once white but not look dingy i but hate to throw away........**
A: I bought a quilt that was over 100yrs old.. I was concerned about the fabrics age and dye running if I tried to clean it.. Since I am not an expert by any means in cleaning something that old I searched for a product that would clean without much effort.. This product not only cleaned my quilt it restored all the colors to what I think it must have looked originally.. It took stains out.. Took the yellowing of the fabric out and candidly the quilt looks almost brand new.. Now the one thing I will say.. is you have to follow directions.. use the product in the time frame of soaking time... if you do you will be amazes at how well this works.. My quilt soaked for about a week as the directions said.. I would buy this again it works that well..

**Q: Has anyone soaked items in hard water for days? If so, how well did it work? Also, did you need to take any extra steps prior to soaking?**
A: We do not have soft water and i soaked following directions with no problem

**Q: Can this be used on wool and silk?**
A: No. I learned the hard way. It turned my wool/silk shawl into a stinky pile of literal goo in 30 min.

**Q: What is in this product?**
A: It is used to clean old linens. I used it to clean a 100 year old baptism gown that had become gray and dingy. It worked beautifully.

I restore a lot of old dolls and their clothing is usually very dirty and fragile. This product is brilliant for being kind but also removing years of grime. It may sound expensive but you only need 3 tbs per gallon of water, so it lasts for ages. So glad I found it.

Had a yellowed out 80s dress, left this for 2 days (accidentally) and the dress is almost new. For fresher stains it works fairly quick- just a few hours soaking

Didn’t even let this old doll soak for more than two hours (instructions say it takes up to 48 hours) and it came up so well. Tried Vanish and even a little bleach to try get these old brown age stains out previously. Nothing but this worked. Best money I’ve spent in a long time. This doll was mine 30 years ago and it still shifted old stains no matter how embedded.
