They really help keep the “magic” going. When you add the refill and the mist starts pouring out, it gives that dramatic, spell-casting effect that makes kids feel like they’re actually creating something magical. It definitely adds to the whole experience. These refills produce quite a bit of smoke, which is great for the visual effect. The only downside is there’s a bit of a strange smell but it fades pretty quickly. The ooh’s and ahh’s make it worth it. I’d just recommend using it in a larger, well-ventilated space so the fog and smell don’t build up too much. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and really helps keep the magic alive.
