So much better than the Conair hard plastic electric rollers with the awful wire clips. These are twice the price but definitely worth it. They heat up very quickly and leave hair smooth and noticeabley volumized. I do use Paul Mitchell Quick Slip Styling Cream which helps as well. The only downside is the clips-they do not hold the hair on the roller and very difficult to open with one hand. I purchased a set of large plastic clips which work well. Conair needs to re evaluate the clips and come up with a replacement.
