**Q: Can you use the straws for drinking though?**
A: Artstraws are for Art and Craft Use. They have been specifically designed for model construction weaving and plaiting among many other craft uses. They are not for use as drinking Straws. Drinking Straws are normally wax coated which makes them less pliable and are harder to adhere to each other and are also far shorter than a long Artstraw.

Bought to build little craft projects with the kids like bridges and towers. Just the type of straws I wanted for arts and crafts. They make strong structures when put together with a glue gun. I originally thought the box was a bit on the large size but now I think we'll use them a lot so it's worth having so many.
