I decided on this setup because it is wireless and has the ability to connect the base to a computer monitor for easy viewing, which is great for my grandmother because she doesn't like smart phones. I've been trying them out myself before installing it for her to make sure it will work for her needs. It was easy to setup and has worked well so far. I also set the app up so I can check in on my grandmother once it is installed. The app works good as well, even without the cloud service. The battery life is good and will work great for all settings except for the uninterrupted continuous viewing. I found that the uninterrupted continuous viewing worked well doing the day while the sun was up but didn't last throughout the night. Despite this, it will still provide security by switching to a battery saving option after it goes below fifty percent to ensure you have continued coverage until the battery can recharge. All in all, I would recommend this product.

I ordered these my grandmother.
