A: I don't see any note of size on the spool but it measure roughly .004"or .012 mm
Compared to "standard" size thread, the most common  it seems to be pretty much identical to #50

I haven't done a lot with this yet, but there is a nice degree of stretch to the thread.  It is a stable material that doesn't seem to fray much.  I have used it to whip stitch and blanket stitch the edging on shoulder bad straps.  It has performed very well and is holding up very nicely.
