I what wanted as natural a birth as possible so decided to see how long I could go just using the TENs for pain relief. I found it a really good distraction and I liked the fact that there was a boost button, to help me focus more on the tingling sensation rather than the contractions. I also liked the fact that the Elle TENs had levels and it went up to 15 I think. This meant that I didn’t crank it up too soon and it was good to know I could always increase the settings if needed. I found the TENs so effective I didn’t need any pain relief and I delivered my baby 6 hours after active labour had started. I liked the fact that I had enough time to send the unit back post birth without being rushed and that a return envelope was included. Hiring the Elle TENs was one of the best decisions I made re my pregnancy and labour and for me was really worthwhile.
