Much better sound than the briefcase style but the sound isn’t amazing. Have 2 from this brand so be aware that some records do not auto stop with these. If you don’t pay attention they will just keep spinning. However, most records do stop on their own so it seems limited to some records for whatever reason. If you can deal with that, it’s a good starter player for a good price. And it’s attractive.
