Things that that fit length-wise don't fit width-wise and vice versa- it sucks! No woman wants to ever see the muffin-top effect on their thighs or knees or wherever the garment ends. They fit, they're warm and they suit my different styles. I can fold them over and wear them under-the knees or mid-calf but also wear them unfolded as thigh highs (folding only at the top to stop them from running down and the bottom so that they don't sag on the floor). These are simply amazing!Now, I don't know who measured the leg warmers but let me tell warn you ahead of time- they're NOT 39 inches long. The warmers are approximately 30.5 inches un-stretched BUT CAN stretch up to about 40 inches total. If you haven't read my review's title, I wrote my measurements on there so hopefully it can help future buyers. (If not, I'm 5'1" tall, with 16.5" calf-circumference, 20" thigh-circumference.)Overall, this is one of those bang-for-your-buck purchases that one will never regret! I'm a plus size women and was a little skeptical these would fit at all, but to my surprise they did! They go from ankle to above my knee to my lower thigh, which is perfect because I only wear dresses and skirts to work everyday. I wear tights then slide these right over them. When I walk I will say they do ride down a bit (likely because my thighs touch) but as a quick fix I rolled each one down once to make a cuff and that seems to mostly hold them in place (with a little slouching). I haven't washed them yet so I don't have feedback on that, but to be on the safe side I'll wash them in cold water and lay them out to dry. The quaility isn't supreme but I wouldn't say it's cheap either. All in all, I would reccommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, but too small for me *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2015* I really like these, but they are tight for me personally. I'm 5' 7" tall and have heavy calves (17”). The leggings are very stretched on my legs and reach up to an inch or two above my knees (about 18” around), where they are very tight. They measure 23” long, flat and unstretched. They have a few loose stitches at the very top and bottom edges, but not where they would show.I think they are very nice for the price. They are not bulky at all, but heavy enough to keep the legs warm. And I was amazed at the fast shipping! I ordered them on January 1 and received them on January 14, way ahead of the estimated time frame. I'm currently losing weight and when I get smaller I plan to order more of these.
