I have a three tier waterfall with a "plastic" dish at the top. My problem was the concrete pointing between the dish and the stones had cracked and become porous. I renewed the pointing and applied several THIN coats of the G4.You need a completely dry surface and apply the sealant in THIN coats. It says on the tin, that it is for concrete, but I used an old plastic dish to pour the stuff into, to work, and it has left a complete coat all over the old dish. It looks like new!! With that in mind, it seems that it would bond to various different surfaces. I bought the 500g tin, and it went quite a long way. Reading other comments, before I used the G4, it seemed that you really need to throw the brushes away, after using them, as they do not clean successfully. I found several old brushes and didn't bother to try cleaning them. I hope this will help. Good luck. **Q: Can this be used with an acrylic dye mixed in, or applied between layers?** A: I don't see why not, however, there's a slight yellow tinge to it when it dries so you should take that into consideration **Q: What’s the directions for this?** A: Not an expert, but it was ensure s porous service with no major cracks, so rendered. Then paint on, 3-4 coats all in one session....I was worried I would run out! First coat used loads! However next two coats were a lot less. I made mistake that clear is not in fact clear, so my ponds is a yellow colour. Tempted to drain and cover with black...but night looked into it yet. Pond so far has showed no signs of leakage. However coping stones I only covered with one coat has worn away, somake sure you coat everything atleast 3 times.... **Q: Product info says it will kill fish, is this if it gets into the pond in it's liquid form or what? The stepping stones were used in my pond on a side where ive a tiny leak about 3"~4" from the top I can't find... hoping that sealing these small slate before using with the black expanding pond foam would help to stop it.
