Did hope I could use them indoors in places of candles, though, and I can but they have a colder, whiter light than candles so not quite as nice hence only 4 stars. Did expect them to have more of a yellow light as I have battery operated church candles for my fire place which looks exactly like a real flame. That said, they served the purpose they were bought for, and will be rolled out every Halloween.
