We bought it to connect a old USB Printer to our office network. We had to find a PC with a CD drive to install the necessary software. That PC could print although printer errors appeared before the print started. It then appeared to require the installation CD to be used on every Windows device on the network (our network has laptops with no CD drive). Without installing the software, all the other laptops could see the printer on the network but it was shown as Offline. Our IPads could not even see the printer - the AirPrint application was completely incompatible with this server. The instructions were wholly inadequate. None of the issues we had were mentioned. And it showed how old the product is E.g. compatible versions of Windows ended at Windows 7 (although it did work with Windows 10).
