I chose to stop using chemical based anti-perspirants, aluminium has been rumoured with breast cancer so thought I would give it a try. Firstly I have always been a sweaty person finding it hard to find any deodorant that worked even the expensive ones that tell you they work for days. I took these on holiday with me and used first thing in the morning, I can't say I did not sweat because I did (so no change there) but no sweaty smell, none whatsoever, no yellowing marks in my clothes, no clothes smelling of sweat only the smell of my perfume on them. Instead of spending about £10 a month I am spending about £7 a year! I am ordering a spare one next time to keep for my feet (just think no more smelly feet!). I have both my daughters using these as well now.Really simple to use, once you have showered and dried wet the crystal stick and apply, it dries within a few minutes and then get dressed - simple ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non-liquid travel deodorant - perfect for hand luggage *by L***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2014* I spent several years reading about the benefits of using Ammonium Alum (mineral salts) as a deodorant and started using them a couple of years back and find they are pretty effective. I've used several brands and have the found the packaging to be either large or fiddly. I came across this make in the USA being sold in a travel-size. The travel-size is small but is as far as I'm concerned perfect for every day use and great to travel with. I find they last a long time. You do want to leave them to dry upside-down - the reverse of the image shown - because the water 'melts' the base of the salt stick and it falls out of the container which is a nuisance. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not totally convinced. *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2015* Does this product work? I'm really not sure. Some days I feel it has and some days I smell a bit so I don't know if I'm just sometimes smelly and this product does nothing or if sometimes I don't apply it properly.I know some people swear by this stuff but I certainly find anti-perspirants more reliable despite the possible health concerns about blocking pores etc.Maybe I'll just save up and get the sweat glands scraped out, then I wouldn't need any of this stuff. Actually, maybe I won't.
