Ha, not by a long shot. It's a golf shoe. An extremely comfortable golf shoe, but a golf shoe nonetheless. There are other priorities to address aside from comfort. Stability and comfort can be at serious odds for example--the outsole is very firm on these. That was a pleasant surprise. With all the comfort talk I was worried that these may be glorified walking shoes, but they are in fact very stable. Being a golf shoe, they simply can't compete comfort-wise with other high quality shoes--some of my Campers make these feel like wood clogs in comparison. I'd put them on par with some of the ultralight Footjoy or Adidas golf shoes I've owned, although the quality of these is far superior. Also, if you are looking at both, these are in my opinion better than the Ecco street premiere shoes in every way. I would personally recommend spending the extra money and going with these BIOMs. These fit better (they feel properly snug in the right places whereas the streets feel sloppy to me), are lighter, and have a better build quality... they are a much improved evolution. They are also a very good looking shoe. Ultimately, worth the $ and I would buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great golf shoes! *by B***. on October 26, 2012* update: I now have three pair of these shoes. Still wonderful!I have two pairs of these (not to be confused with the "street shoes" also made by Ecco) great golf shoes. The Biom model is so very comfortable and attractive; not cheap about $200. I get lots of commnets on these. No hard spikes or hard spike sore spots on my feet. Not advertised as waterproof, but for light rain or grass with lots of dew, I've never had any hints at leaks. The sizes vary a little; one pair is just right, the other is a tad smaller but not uncomfortably so. I wear a 7 1/2 FootJoy but a European size 40 in the Ecco. I do not slip when hitting the ball and it is great to walk straight off the course into a restaurant or home without having to change shoes in lockerroom or parking lot. I often wear mine like most people wear cross trainers or running shoes - golf shoes, they're not just for golf anymore! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May be the perfect golf shoe *by A***Y on September 7, 2015* I already owned this shoe in brown and loved them, so I knew what to expect. I wanted the black, too, because they look so classy and will be great for fall and winter play. I played 18 holes in them the day after they arrived with no problems. The best thing about these shoes is that I don't think about my feet when I wear them. Even with awkward lies that require less-than-optimal stance, the shoes don't shift, and my feet don't shift inside them. Today I played 18 holes in soaking conditions, and my feet never slipped and they stayed completely dry. They may indeed be perfect golf shoes. I wear them off the course, too. As I was walking into a sporting goods store last week, I noticed a man looking at my shoes.
