It provides a tight bond with the floor without me having to drill in to the subfloor. Saves a fair bit of time and it hasn't budged since being fixed. I have bought more since the first time I used it and will definitely do so again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy use *by A*** on 28 February 2018* This worked really well, easy to use with Dural door strip. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was sceptical, but needn't of been it worked a treat! *by A***R on 9 February 2022* Recently had my hallway flooring changed from carpet to hard floor (tiles) the original doorbars were for carpet so was no longer suitable so needed to replace for 2 doorways.I originally tried grab adhesive to stick the bars down as the tiles had been laid without a small gap at the door way thresholds so didn't feel comfortable in drilling holes through the tiles and into the rock hard cement base floor underneath, it held for 12 hours before the threshold bar started to lift and move. Frustratingly I tried again only this time using a better make hoping that would hold better but to no avail. 3rd attempt I then tried yet another grab adhesive a good quality one that supposedly was super strength, thinking this would solve the problem which it did for about 2 weeks!I was beginning to think I'd never get these threshold bars stuck and that I would be for ever blighted by the ugly look of tile against tile that didn't match in style or colour and look unfinished!I shopped around for some self adhesive threshold bars, I found a couple that were suitable and similar in style to the threshold bars I'd selected and failed miserably to install but they were quite expensive so didn't want to jump into buying them, so continued to shop around which is when I stumbled across this product (dural self adhesive tape) I read a few of the reviews and thought well let's give this stuff a go, I bought 2 rolls (having 3 bars to install) I was very skeptical it would do the job especially after paying a lot more for previous grab adhesive applications that, simply put were useless!Item was delivered yesterday and I immediately went ahead and attempted to install the 1st of 3 threshold bars (for the 6th time!)Install was simple, mess free and unlike the grab adhesives I'd previously used didn't have any strong smell to it.I pushed the threshold bar into place, stood on it to make sure that it had a good contact to the floor, stepped off and was amazed it was stuck! Unlike the grab adhesives I'd previously used which when first installed had a little movement which then gradually got worse until it was completely unstuck, this product had no movement at all!It's only been down now for 12 hours but already I can see that it is far superior to the grab adhesives I'd previously used, I am confident that this bar will now be down without any movement until the day I decide to pull them up again!I will try and update in a month or so whether the door bars have remained stuck down!But so far I'm extremely happy with how secure it seems.
