I'd use a dremel to grind an undercut "dovetail" in the defect and apply J-B Weld High Heat epoxy putty. About 500 degrees max. **Q: My deck screws are no longer biting to secure deck on boat. What product do u recommend to fill hole and redrill?** A: I just finished filling holes in boat deck that no longer would hold the screws. It dries white.
