I am a regular size nine and ordered size 8 1/2 because the price was so much cheaper. Luckily, the 8 1/2 fit perfectly. I think they run a little tiny bit big.The leather is absolutely gorgeous. It is very thick and I expect the boots to last longer than me! They are heavy due to the solid construction. My calves are average to a little larger than average and the shaft fit me perfectly. No stretching needed!! The heel cup is a little big but it didn't bother me.So I put them on right out of the box and didn't take them off until the end of a very busy day. My feet felt great. No discomfort whatsoever. I have been very lucky with fit, I have 6 pair of Frye's and they are all very comfortable.I like the heel height. It is just right, not too tall. And I like the shaft height. It lands a few inches below my knee. I think the style is very versatile. Stylish, feminine and edgy at the same time. Treat yourself!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Weird fit. *by N***D on March 17, 2015* I'm giving these three stars because the quality really seems top notch. I think that they are probably well made boots. However, I can't really attest to that since they are huge! I ordered a 9.5, and that is the size that I generally wear. The boots were AT LEAST a full size too large. Furthermore, I don't have particularly large calves, but I couldn't even pull the boot up all the way on my left leg because the calf was too small. It wouldn't budge! I may have resorted to a boot stretcher or some other such product had the shoe fit anyway. Suffice it to say, I returned them. I will try a different style in a different size. And I will say that the return process has been super easy so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE These Boots! *by S***E on December 21, 2013* These are my go to boots when I know I'm going to be putting in a lot of walking!
