Shipping was fast and packaging was great. The fan isn't wood but the mid-weight material lends to the incredible air flow. I appreciated the weight when installing which lended to installation being a one person job. There is absolutely no way you can decipher the material unless you assembled and install the fan. The fan is beautifully minimalistic and looks freaking amazing. Ultimately, it's just designed really well and very quiet. The remote is an added bonus and operates as advertised. Worth every penny. Run now. There is a bit of inconsistency with the VID provided for installation, particularly. for fan w/o light. The plastic piece on the bracket in the VID and in instructions is not an included part in the box. This made me think I wasn't provided with all the parts. I figured it out and am very pleased.
