**Q: I am using this switch to connect a circuit of 3.5a bulbs in a dolls house to a 3.5 transformer Is 2 amps high enough**
A: This should be fine for that

**Q: Do these come in black? I can't find a black one**
A: yes they do

**Q: does this come with a screw cap to hold in place or does it need to screw into a holder?**
A: It comes with a screw cap and with an optional depth adjustment.

**Q: Does this switch simply connect to the live wire at both ends with no interference with the negative and earth.**
A: I put this switch into a bathroom cabinet and yes put it only in to the live line and it works perfectly well 👍
