Needs sand paper grit variety. - This is my second rotary tool for tiny and detailed refinishing. My last I bought many years ago because it wasn’t strong enough to keep rotating under notable pressure. But this one is awesome. I have now used multiple bits on pinewood and this tool did great. It did get pretty hot in my hand since I was working it pretty hard but the heat never was an issue. I also tried the long flex shaft. It was pretty handy for the extra finite needs. The heavier unit sometimes made micro movements tough to be accurate. I should probably watch some videos for tips on how to cut a straight line on wood but this tool is a really great start. Good quality. Smooth operation. Love the variable speed and powerful motor. Thankful for all the bits. The only thing I wish it had was different sand paper grits. All of the ones here are off the same low number grit, which leaves lines in the wood. Makes beautifully fast work but once you’re ready for an option that doesn’t leave lines, there isn’t one in this set. I record buying additional bits that’s have more variety. The first project I used this rotary tool on was to drill small holes into stained wooden knobs so they could be attached to 1" diameter wafer cutters. The threaded end of the Shaft for the Wen is slightly bigger than the Dremel...so sadly from personal experience, I know some attachments like the Chuck(4486) & Mini-Saw(670) attachments will not screw on properly and work with the Wen. :( **Q: will this fit on dremal brand drill press accessary? (Dremel 220-01 Rotary Tool Work Station ) thanks** A: My Wen 2305 (purchased in 2019) fits both physically, and the threading does match - pulled the assembly out of the box and checked with my tool as soon as it was delivered. My 2305 also phsically fits the cup; I'd already compared the size/shape to some of the Dremel tools listed as compatible. If anything has changed since 2019, this might not apply. If you can take the end-cap off your Wen tool and try fitting it on one of the listed Dremels, that should tell you if the threading matches. **Q: Does this unit include any dry wall cutting bit?** A: The bits cut dry wall but not included, and the TOOL adapters from Steel DO NOT FIT, no matter what he says this unit is in mm, steel fractions of inches they dont fit. I have resorted to using the standard chuck to affix the tools. The included tools are pretty good overall and have suited my needs! The tool itself is a bit large, making it hard to use in tighter situations but it's pretty powerful so I can see why it's as large as it is. The vents near the front aren't in the best position, as I often find myself toasting my fingers and needing to adjust my grip off of them.
