This is a cut to fit carbon pre-filter for my small Idylis air filter. I cut about 7 filters out of this one piece. While cutting I noticed a lot of black carbon dust on the counter and all over my hands. It was very difficult to clean up afterwards and I'm concerned about this dust being sucked into the hepa filter and being released into the air. This makes no sense as the Filtrete brand never does this. This type of carbon with the dust reminds me of cheap fish filter carbon I used to use when I had a tank.
