The skirt fit fine on my hips, with plenty of room to get bigger if needed. I normally wear size 11 to 13 in pants. I am 5'3 and the skirt was a little long on me. A little past my knees, I am not sure how well it will cut if need be.This skirt is see though. Completely. I had to wear a basic black skirt underneath, so thankful I had it or I would have been able to use this product.I wanted the bottom portion of the skirt to be green. I had to use two bottles of green fabric spray paint for it to stick. It took about four different coats on each side and a long time to dry in between.
