It's just missing some features, I didn't know I needed.Firstly, it turns off pretty quickly once the car is in idol or parked with power off. It surprises me that it will also do this in ACC mode.It's also not obvious how to force it to record/save. This concerns me, because I definitely want to make sure it's recording if I get pulled over for a traffic stop. (Video and Audio).The night vision is okay, but not amazing. Though given that you should have lights on when driving at night, it does an alright job.The mounting kit is great, and it's suction cup has stayed attached for more than a week without any adjustments needed.The audio recording does not appear to work.Note: when it says you need to format a card in the directions. It means put a 32gig card in the camera, and choose format from the camera menu. Sar far it's met expectations for the price point. I bought it to keep an eye on my new driver in the household as well as some insurance against a he said/she said.I've had a few more expensive cameras before and this isn't far off. The picture is reasonable. You're not going to read license plates but I wasn't expecting to. I waited until the SD card had filled and looped to make this review as I've had others that would get stuck once the card was full. No issues here.Easy setup. No weird controls to figure out. It's pretty intuitive. Long cord supplied for power to a 12V power socket. I routed mine to the fuse box for switch on power as my 12V socket has always on power.various stick on cable holders to route the cord. Suction cup or 3M, more permanent sticky mount. I liked this option. I hate suction cups falling off in extreme heat or cold.All in all, I'm pleased.
