I am a 9 hole golfer and this was the first time I was to play 18 holes - on a Pebble Beach course, no less. I started out with the Sketcher's pair I purchased....they were ok. As the dew dried off the course I switched to these DAWGS. Immediately I appreciated the arch support and room for my toes. They felt secure, flexible, and really comfortable for the remaining 12 holes. There definitely were some sand shots, but I did not feel the need to shake the shoes out.
