## Description

Product Description Hiking and photography - two passions requiring very particular camera equipment. That’s because if you are taking lengthy trekking excursions, you won’t make it very far with a camera bag. For one thing, there's no room for all your gear, like your camera, provisions and rain cover. For another, carrying a camera bag can put a lot of strain on your body. The “Trekkingtour” camera rucksack combines these two demands and is the ideal companion while hiking or trekking. From the camera equipment, to provisions, to the rain jacket: It all fits inside the “Trekkingtour” camera rucksack. Besides the essential digital camera, additional accessories such as lenses and a flash attachment all fit inside the large compartment. Adjustable interior dividers provide clear organisation, and keep the various pieces of equipment in place. The rucksack also provides practical details: a compartment that can be filled from the top, a side pocket, interior compartments, zip-up compartment with keyring pendant – for smaller accessories like memory cards, batteries, cables, plasters, keys, but also drinking bottles and provisions. There’s a padded tablet compartment on the rear interior side. A tripod can even be attached to the straps provided. For long trips with heavy equipment, you need a rucksack with well thought-out space allowance; you also need a pack that is comfortable and easy on your back. The rucksack is designed with ergonomics in mind. The shoulder straps as well as the hip strap are adjustable and padded, and the chest strap is height-adjustable. Thus, you can adjust your trekking rucksack for the optimal weight distribution. Of course the back is padded as well. Quick access to the padded camera compartment from the outside of the rucksack eliminates fumbling around in an uncomfortable posture. The best scenes are often found in the changing weather. With a rain cover and durable, water-resistant bottom, you will be able to face these adversities atop the mountain. Box Contains 1 "Trekkingtour" camera backpack, 4 inner dividers, 1 rain cover

Review: Great, versatile backpack, fits quite a lot of gear - The Hama Daytour 230 is a great backpack with plenty of room for a whole lot of gear. The whole bag is padded and seals out dust and moisture well. The harness is comfortable and includes a padded waist band making this quite easy to hike with. The bag holds a lot of kit: - two full frame DSLRs, one with attached 70-200mm; and the other with attached 24-70; - 50mm & 85mm primes; - 90mm Macro; and - three speed lights. with room for lots of other remotes, filters and general odds and ends, as well as a travel tripod on the outside. Despite the space, I use this bag mainly as a travel pack. I find myself usually removing the dividers from the top compartment and using it as a day pack, while I carry a smaller selection of gear in the bottom compartment. There are a lot of well thought out touches such as the water bottle holder (on the outside so water stays the hell away from your equipment) or the dedicated pockets for lens cloths, CF cards and batteries. I also like that the main access flap for the top compartment is on the harness side, so that you don't have to put the harness in the dirt to open the bag. There are a couple of quirks that don't affect me a lot, but you should be aware of: 1) The quick draw flaps are large enough for a big SLR, but not one with a battery grip attached. A 5D or D700/800 should be fine, but if you have a 1D or D3/D4 look elsewhere. 2) The internal Velcro battery pockets are a little flimsy and only hold one or two batteries, not the fistful that I usually travel with. Overall, a great purchase - I'm very happy.
Review: Not as big as it looks - I bought this bag as I my current bag was struggling to hold all my gear, the photos looked good and gave the impression that it would meet my needs nicely. The bag itself is good quality, padding, zips etc all looked fine. The problem I had was with the design of this bag. The curved design means that the depth of the sides of bag were very restricted, I really struggled to get the back to hold my 5DII, 70-200, 70-40 and 24-105. Outside of the 70-200, these lenses aren't that large, it was a real struggle to get them to fit in the side dividers, due to the lost space. In summary this bag could have been so much better, but it sacrificed practicality for design. It is very well priced, so if your kit consists of small primes rather than larger zooms it may work well for you. But unfortunately not for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent bag - good capacity, durable and practical design
*by D***W on 17 March 2013*

A very good backpack. Room for a 5DmkII with 24-70 2.8L attached, with another lens (135mm 2L), lunch, waterproofs and spare battery/filters etc. Access to gear inside is easy from several angles, and the reinforced bottom reduces worry about putting it down on wet or muddy ground. The rain cover is good but the only downside is it doesn't quite fit around a tripod strapped to the bag. Overall, an excellent purchase, very good value and highly recommended.
