The instructions were simple and easy to understand, the only thing that seems wrong is when they tell you to hook the out plug to the in port and the in plug to the out port. It sounds wrong, but actually it isn't That setup is required so that the keyboard and the computer can talk to each other. Before I got my piano/keyboard lesson software, I downloaded a software program called Midi-Ox, and was able to verify that the keyboard and the computer were connected properly and were talking to each other. Now I have my keyboard lessons software and everything works beautifully. The other end of the cable goes to your USB port on the computer I would recommend this item to anyone who wants to use a keyboard and computer to either learn music or to make or compose music. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work correctly *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2018* There is a reason this is so cheap, it doesn't work. Tried it out on my keyboard and it's terrible. It doesn't track all the notes you play, and reports some keys being held down when they aren't. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra bucks on something better that actually works unless you're fine with 75% of the notes you play being reported accurately to your computer. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Does not work with Strymon pedals *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2023* I can only speak on its compatibility with strymon guitar effects. This cables does not work with the strymon brand.
