It holds for 24 hours. use as directed. **Q: If zinc is dangerous, why is it in this?** A: Too much Zinc counteracts the other minerals you have in your body and it may cause nerve damage similar to fibromyalgia and feeling not well. **Q: Does this product have Zinc?** A: Pretty sure it does, but Secure, also sold by Amazon does not. The Fixodent holds a it better, but very different trying to get it loose, if you need to. **Q: Does it have a taste?** A: Have never eaten this stuff .. If you apply as per instructions, and don't use excessive product, there will be no "taste" ..
