Installation design required no drilling and is sturdy and as secure as I think possible in a no-drill install design. Might break loose and fly forward in a hard collision but you can drill and add more bolts easily if that is a concern to you. This is one of the best add-ons I have purchased for my JK and is a MUST for securing articles when riding topless. Plenty of room for tools, tow ropes, purses, laptops, whatever. No regrets whatsoever in purchasing. Installed in less than 20 minutes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool box, bad mounting brackets *by C***Y on October 16, 2018* Update - several years in this a great tool box for my setup. The company sent me a new set of brackets although due to the heavy tools and what I put my Jeep through I also added some nutserts in the tailgate with plastic spacers for reinforcement in additionto the new brackets. It is rock solid now and makes a great cooking table for camping too.I love the tool box and the functionality, but the brackets attaching it to the tailgate seem to be made of cheap metal. The box itself holds all the tools I need, my recovery kits and air compressor. The tabs going into the gate are not long enough or sturdy enough to hold up to off road use. Since I was in the middle of packing for a trip when it failed, I just bent the tabs back into shape and remounted it to the gate, but the initial failure bent the gate vents. Not a huge deal for me given that I am looking at finding a way to mount this more solidly and do not plan on removing it, but something to consider. My plan is to weld replacement brackets to better secure it to the gate. For the price I'd expect the mounting brackets to be better quality.I'll still continue using it because it is an excellent concept for storage while topless and still leaves room in my 2 door for the dogs to ride along. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick Easy Install *by K***. on June 18, 2019* 15 min install in the rain.
