Don't just "eyeball It". I originally thought to order the 3 foot size. Took my medal measuring tape down to measure. Ended up ordering the 3 of the 5 foot size. Well, as it turned out, one of them should have been a 6.6 footer, but moving an item to a different location on my stand made it work. That being said, they work just fine giving my TV a sharper picture. Also, they are not of the rubber/plastic covering but are nylon braided cable covering.
