**Q: are these lined or just have dots?**
A: The pages are lined. There are subtle even spaced dots across each line. This is my favorite format for everything from note-taking to geometric diagrams for chemistry class.

**Q: Does it have holes to fit in a 3-ring binder?”**
A: There are no pre punched holes in these notebooks

**Q: what is the difference between these books and a compostion book and what are the pro and cons?**
A: These notebooks and composition books are about the same size. The composition book has 100 sheets while these have 30. The reason I prefer the Kokuyo books is that the paper quality is much better. I write with fountain pens and the ink bleeds through on the cheap composition book pages and I cannot write on the back side of the sheets. I write on both sides of the Campus pages.
