I could never clean her thouroughly enough after coming home and she would leave dirt and send everywhere. The idea behind the bag is great, I only wish there were two improvements made to it. One: I bought the biggest size available (size 6) and it's still a bit too small for my retriever. She can't lie in it comfortably (not enought space) unless I position her myself on her side. Two, I would probably prefer if the bag had small cuff like openings for paws so that the dog can move in it. My goldie is a very social creature and if I put the bag on her in the hall, she has to stay there as she can't move but she's not too happy. I discovered that it works better if I dry her a bit and bring her to the kitchen where I bag her up. She's happy to stay there for an hour or so because she can see all of us. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job! *by M***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 20 June 2016* Great idea and certainly does the job. It fits my springer well and he curled up nice and cosy and went to sleep after his walk and hose down! The fabric is soft and reasonably thick and the plastic zip seems robust.A couple of things to note: the colour on the advert looks red however the bag is very pink! The neck hole is rather large and my dog got his front leg through the hole easily when he stood up. Lots of bits of pink fluff came off it on first use, this may improve after I have washed it. NB To help with the neck hole problem I threaded some elastic through the seam of the neck (luckily it was hollow) and sewed the ends securely. This helped but still did not prevent my dog's front leg coming through. I noticed other designs have Velcro to secure the neck which seems a good idea (but they were a more expensive product). Finally I it is important to supervise your dog while it is in the bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Half works - half doesnt *by I***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 12 February 2014* My Cockerpoo loves running in mud and jumping in puddles - particularly in the current horrendous English weather. As such, I thought this would be ideal, and I was half right.Having taken the advice of others who did not buy the correct size, I measured my dogs neck and ordered the correct product so that is not my issue. Unfortunately, the item simply isn't as effective as I had hoped for. It does a great job drying the top of my dog whose underside unfortunately doesn't really dry at all.On top of this, if she is left alone in the bag (in the boot of the car, in her bed at home) she almost immediately escapes rendering it entirely useless. Perhaps a modified version with a draw string neck might lead to great efficacy?I will however keep the product which I've found useful in my office after her lunch time walk and after she's had a bath to sit with her wrapped up in it.Perhaps the old adage "if something's too good to be true, it probably is" rings true again in this instance?
