I have not had anything stick to the surface in this pot. Cheese, rice, egg, pasta, milk, and all the usual "sticking" foods do not stick. The strainer lid is great for pastas, blanched veggies, dry beans, corn on the cob (yes, some whole ears will fit), etc. It's quick to heat up. I use it on an electric stove top and it sits on large and small burner elements just fine. The handles do get very warm from side heat on the large burner and I use hot pads to pick up the pot, but the handles seem take the heat just fine. I use this pot a lot and it keeps coming back for more. I do not use metal utensils in it, so I don't know how well it might or might not work with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice pot but the top is not very sturdy even when locked *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2023* I like the pot for the most part, my only complaint is that the top slides around even when locked- which kind of defeats its intended purpose.
