Review: Perfection in a half shell - Exactly what I wanted. I had these back around '92 and they ended up somewhere NOT with me all the years later. She knows who she is and I hope she's happy. Ha. Exactly as I remember. I believe they cost about 4 bucks each back then...this price I paid today is absolutely reasonable. And so much easier than having to find them individually like I did back then. I was 20 and worked all the time back then..these figures were fun to collect and we were all living turtle mania to some degree. Also...there is no point paying a lot of money for damaged, parts missing originals. I firmly believe reissues is the way to go. Playmates has been doing awesome reissues that are affordable, durable and every bit as good as originals. I see no reason NOT to buy them. There might be some slight discrepancies from the originals but you would have to be VERY picky to notice or care. They are cat magnets though. My other sets of turtles are my only shelf toys the cat always wants to steal. LOL. If you had originals or not...these are indeed the ones to get. All shiny, new, complete....good tight joints. The same ones that didn't want to stand up back then are the exact same now...yep. But I don't know of any TMNT fan who wouldn't like them. bonus--I was thrilled they came on my day off so I could make it a day just enjoying nostalgia AND great toys. I opened them all! Toys do NOT deserve to be stuck in their packaging. Touch them! Great seller. Review: Amazing - Almost a perfect replica of the 80s or 90s version. Looks cool and is the same style. ## Features - Every Turtle is authentically sculpted and decorated as he appeared in the hit 1980's animated TV show. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BMW88PGP | | Additional Features | [INF-Authenticity and Nostalgia, INF-Customization and Playability] | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Animal Theme | Turtle | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,898 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #227 in Action Figures | | Brand Name | TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA | | Collection Name | Classic | | Color | Multi | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,132 Reviews | | Included Components | Four Individually Packaged Figures | | Inner Material | Plastic | | Item Dimensions | 12.75 x 4.75 x 7.75 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 3"L x 2"W x 4"H | | Item Type Name | Action Figures | | Manufacturer | Playmates Toys | | Manufacturer Part Number | 81324 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 4 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Classic 4" Turtles 4-Pack Figure Bundle | | Model Number | 81324 | | Model Series | Classic | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Outer Material | plastic | | Play Activity Location | Tabletop | | Scale | 4-inch scale | | Set Name | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Set | | Size | 4 Inch (Pack of 4) | | Style | Modern | | Theme | Action,Movie, Cartoon, Tv Show | | Toy Figure Type | Action Figure | | UPC | 043377813248 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | character | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | ## Images ![Turtles: Classic 4" Turtles 4-Pack Figure Bundle by Playmates Toys - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719PxaorWPL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why is the price keep changing?** A: Because they're out of print and the price is only going to keep going up. If you really want them, get them now or wait for Playmates to do another run whenever that is going to be. I think they replace the originals with mutant Mayhem so it may be never **Q: Why are their skins different colors?** A: They've been different colors since 1988, just a cosmetic Choice by the designers probably **Q: What are the dimensions of the box that protects all four figures?** A: I can’t be specific bc the box is thrown away but approx the size is an adult sized shoe box. Sorry but I have to guess and would say, 5” high x8 wide x10 long. Hope that’s helps and is close enough. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfection in a half shell *by J***E on August 9, 2025* Exactly what I wanted.
