The EZ Curl definitely works with Bowflex 552 but seems to be hit or miss with 1090s. We think Bowflex changed their handle measurements so we would definitely recommend measuring the width prior to purchasing. Your dumbbell handle length must be at least 4.5” long to accommodate the width of the Hyperbell Bar clamps. (Most are 6”.) Lastly, the diameter of your dumbbell handle can be no bigger than 1.5” at its thickest point. **Q: Hi will this work with Bowflex 560 select tech dumbbells?** A: HYPERBELL works with almost all regular and adjustable dumbbells. However, there are some limitations. The length of the dumbbell handle needs to be at least 4.5" long. Most dumbbell handles are approximately 6.0" long. The diameter of the dumbbell handle needs to be less than 1.5" at its thickest point. The foam insert inside the HYPERBELL will contour to both straight and curved dumbbell handles. It’s a little time consuming to switch out the weights, so not great if you need several different weights and need to make a quick change during a workout, but being able to use the weights I already have has saved so much. It also saves space by not having a bunch of different kettlebells to store. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great if you leave it on 1 dumbbell all the time *by E***S on April 13, 2025* PROS: I got this to use on older Nautilus 552 adjustable dumbbells. The product is a neat concept. I like that the handle can rotate so you can use the handle in both directions. I avoided ordering another popular handle attachment b/c the handle was always parallel with the dumbbell and I wanted it perpendicular with the dumbbell for kettlebell swings, etc like a real kettlebell is. I like that you can attach up to 100lb dumbbell. I recently purchased a single used Bowflex 1090 adjustable dumbbell just for this handle and it fits on it too, however it is even a tighter fit. The Jayflex doesn't slip or slide like I thought it might before I bought it. If your dumbbell handles are skinny, it will slide around.CONS: I would only recommend this product if you're going to leave it on the dumbbell! Don't be expecting to remove this in between sets to put on another dumbbell. It takes a strong grip to press the halves together and get the top screwed on. And it took 2 of us to get it on the new Bowflex 1090 dumbbell. But at least it's tight and won't slip around. Not only is it a tight fit, but getting the handle and screw to line up is a challenge. It's essentially 3 pieces that you're trying to manueuver. I highly recommend putting this handle on an adjustable dumbbell and leaving it on!!! My handle will be staying on the single 1090 so that our pair of 552's are freed up from always having to remove the handle when someone else wants to use the weights.Overall, it's a neat concept, but it can be difficult and time consuming to swap out for another weight.
